A few nights later she announced we were going to have a gourmet dinner at home. She enjoyed doing things in the kitchen and had taken cooking classes when we lived in France. She asked that we all get dressed up just to make it special and fun.
The dinner was incredible and it lasted most of the evening. Several courses were served and an endless supply of wine flowing around the table.
